The first black singer in Latin America to reach more than 1 billion streams on Spotify alone, this number currently exceeds 3 billion streams – and, also, with more than 2 billion views on YouTube – Ludmilla started singing when she was 8 years old. In 2014, she signed a contract with Warner Music Brasil and then released the single “Sem Querer”. Since then, the singer has released the album Hoje (2014). Aside from “Te Ensinei Certin”, the video “Hoje” became one of the artist’s most celebrated songs and, nowadays, has more than 100 million views on YouTube. “A Danada Sou Eu” (2016), the second album in Ludmilla’s career, definitively established her as a reference for Brazilian funk – the work was nominated for the Latin Grammy for Best Contemporary Pop Album of 2017. The year 2018 is marked by an explosion of hits with the singles “Solta a Batida”, “Não Encosta”, “Din Din Din” and “Jogando Sujo” – all reaching the top of the streaming and radio charts. With two tours in Europe, she released the third and final album and DVD, Hello Mundo (2019), repeating the critical and public success and featuring by Léo Santana, Jão, Simone & Simaria, among others. Later this year, she scored another great success, “Verdinha”.

In 2020, she surprised audiences and critics as a performer on the EP, Numanice, composed of six new tracks dedicated to the pagode style. In November of the same year, the singer returned to the original funk and released the long-awaited single “Rainha da Favela” together with a music video, recorded in Rocinha, which totaled more than 80 million views. In January 2021, Ludmilla opens the new year in a great style and launches the “Numanice Ao Vivo” project, which in the first week achieved superlative numbers for the segment: more than 25 million streams on digital platforms. On the project’s second studio album, Numanice #2, Ludmilla placed, on her debut, all the tracks in the TOP 200 and released the live version in August this year, Numanice #2 – Ao Vivo. In May of the same year, the singer launched the successful “Lud Session” project, a series of musical meetings, which has already received more than 320 million views, in which the artist covers hits and new songs, accompanied by a band and a guest. 2022 was a very important year for Ludmilla, in addition to celebrate ten years of her career and complete the most important projects in her career, the singer was also nominated in the Best International Artist category at the B.E.T Awards and Numanice #2 won the Latin Grammy for Best Samba/Pagode Album. She recently released the album, VILÃ.

2023 was marked by several achievements. At the beginning of the year, she was honored by Billboard Internacional on their list of 23 Latin artists to watch in 2023. Furthermore, Ludmilla also developed a presence in the film industry, contributing to the soundtrack of Fast and Furious 10 with the song “Vai Sentando” and making a brief appearance in the movie. In collaboration with Emilia Mernes, Ludmilla released the track “No_se_ve.mp3”, which became a hit in Europe and gave her international recognition, including nominations for the Latin Billboard Women in Music and Billboard Global. In addition to being awarded such as: voice of the year and Show of the Year (Numanice), at the Multishow Awards; Show of the Year (Numanice), at the WME Awards; Best Brazilian Artist, at the international Trace Awards; Best Latin Collaboration, with “No Se Ve” at the also international Los40 Music Awards.
